I’m Beth Crawford: Southern Born and Southern Bred. I’ve lived in the Birmingham, Alabama, area all of my life.  Am I stereotypical? Yes ma’mam, in a lot of ways.  Am I progressive? Yes, in a lot of ways. Do I ruffle feathers? Yes, with a heart-felt, “Bless your heart,” and a glass of sweet tea. All of this will come out in my posts. I’m sure of that.

Why am I writing this blog? Because I am sick of living on a dime.  Quality can be had for a quarter.  I want to share my insights on this journey, and hopefully, help others who are in the same situation. When you’re tired of “making-do,” know that you can have quality for a small price (and I don’t necessarily mean financially).
